Happy Baseball!

Baseball is back! Woo hoo! Anyone else a fan out there? Anyone looking forward to the return of the National Pastime?

I have to say, the promise of a new season is one of the only things that has gotten me through thus week and it will be a welcome distraction over the next month.

I'm really excited about the Mets this season too, especially after the end of last season left such a bad taste in my mouth.

Hope everyone has a great weekend and Happy Baseball! =)

Happy baseball!!
You know, on opening day I always think the same thing...

"maybe my cubs will win this year?"

They're certainly a trendy pick this year, Hannah, and I;'d pick 'em to win their division.

Wrigley Field is one of the places I must visit before I die. Em's got some friends who live outside of Chicago so I hopw sometime in the next couple years we can visit them in the summer and see a game. :)

Oh, this house is beyond excited! Except that...(cringes and hides behind hands) we're Yankee fans. My 2 year old son's bedroom is white on top, blue on the bottom with a red chair rail and a Yankee border. Please don't hate me! I'm forever at your feet as a Lost follower!! You'd be happy to know as punishment though, that since we moved to South NJ, we don't get New York ANYTHING. So, if hubby wants to watch games he has to pay ALOT, and I'm not agreeing to it...
Am I back on the good side? :( (doing the best pout I can)

Glad you are a baseball fan Jay! I am an Angels fan. Growing up in SoCal my parents had season tickets since I was a kid. We even took the day off of school for opening day.
Hope all your teams have a great year (especially mine!) :)

Oh chefmom, no worries. I have a TON of Yankee fan friends, including the person who sits right next to me at work (and lot of Em's family).

Should be a good year for baseball in New York. :)

I wish I was a baseball fan so I could have something to talk to you guys about! We pretty much only follow football (college at that) in my house. My dads is a Braves fan but that is just proximity (the South) and he is a fair weather fan at that....
