But not from sadness. Jimmy Kimmel's LOST-themed "Unnecessary Censorship" had me laughing so hard I was crying.
Less than 12 hours people... :)

Mmmm... Cake
This is really weird, but strangely hypnotic. Is there anything Michael Emerson could say that would NOT come across as creepy. ;)
Explanation here, though that video link doesn't work anymore.

Sunday Funnies
Long post coming sometime later tonight. In the meantime, watch this if you haven't seen it. It's pretty dumb, but the production values are excellent. Gave me a chuckle.

Vintage DHARMA Ads
These are so awesome! Check them all out!
Love to get a full-sized poster of a couple of these. Not that I have anywhere to hang them... yet. ;)

How We Really Know Ben Is Still Alive...
Because Sayid aimed for his heart.
And, as we all know, Ben doesn't have one... DUM DUM DUM!
Sorry. Long day... :)

Friday Funnies
I don't watch Jimmy Kimmel regularly (though I should because he's a huge LOST fan), so you might have already seen this (my little brother pointed it out to me the other day). There's a whole series of them (you see all five of them in the sidebar if you go to YouTube), though I think this one is undoubtedly the funniest. Kudos to Evangeline Lilly too for poking fun at one of her sillier scenes this season.
Have a great weekend! :)

His Only Begotten Son
Tonight's brand-spanking new episode is called 316. Now I don't read the previews for episodes beforehand (I really find I enjoy the show more knowing nothing going in) and I'm really not religious at all either, but I've had enough Sunday school in my lifetime that I can guess what the episode title refers to:
Jacob = God
Locke = Jesus
Island = Heaven
And from there we extrapolate further:
Jack = The Prodigal Son
Michael = Judas
Sawyer = Samson
Kate = Delilah
Ben = The Serpent
Smokey = Metatron
Eko = John the Baptist
Which leads us to some other obvious parallels:
Arzt = Sodom
Frogurt = Gomorrah
Patchy = Lazarus
Walt = The Ark of the Covenant
Libby = Lot's wife
Vincent = Moses
Of course, we still have no idea who Adam & Eve are, but I'm sure we'll get them eventually. ;)
Enjoy the show tonight!
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. – John 3:16 (KJV)So for those not keeping score:

Teh Funnay... It Hurts Like A Bleeding Kidney
I'm usually behind the curve when it comes to keeping up with these sorts of things, especially since I've never used Live Journal and don't keep up with all the community chatter, but Rachel's Lost Recaps are one of the funniest Lost related things I've seen online and her blog is simply a cornucopia of hilarious Lost-related goodness from LJ fans. For example:

Awesome (thanks to prettybutt)! She also had a link to the silly, yet always giggle-inducing Jackface link too. I stumbled across that page before during my thesis coma, but forgot to link it. Anyway, check it all out, but be sure you allot some significant time. I still have to go back and read all the recaps (make sure you read The Constant though).
And a big old Tip O' The Hat to Hannah, who steered me in Rachel's direction. Happy Lost day, everyone! =)

Sawyer's Nickname Generator
I don't know why it took me so long to notice this over at ABC.com, but they've got an official Sawyer Nickname Generator up that's a quick, silly timewaster; they only ask for input based on six criteria and it spits out multiple nicknames for the same input. In addition to the "Bubblehead" screen cap below, I also got "Cotton" and "Chewie," none of which I think the writers would have come up with if I happened to be a character on the show. Heck, I had more creative "nicknames" in high school! I think we need Version 2.0 here, along with an instant graphic you can post on your blog. =)
Anyhoo, try it out and let me know what you get.

Paging Mulder and Scully
As far as series in-jokes and cross promoting go, this one's top notch. Chuck, cursed with a treasure trove of government secrets buried in his brain, is given the Room 22 treatment by a bunch of men in black. And what was one of those regurgitated little facts?
Simply awesome. Watch it for yourself.
"Oceanic Flight 815 was shot down by surface-to-air missiles"
Simply awesome. Watch it for yourself.

Quote of the Day
"It's a much better idea than the show being a really big hit and then they have to keep it on for 10 years and suddenly we see episodes about Sawyer and, like, the spoon he made. Ya know what I mean?"
- Recent comment by ___________ on Lost's new Season 6 end date
To find out who said it, click here (minor Season 4 casting spoilers you've probably heard already). And speaking of casting spoilers, there was a post in the Lost group I subscribe to titled "Two new cast members." I'm sure whoever they are, it's been posted over at DarkUFO. I ain't posting anything until they've been officially announced (like technically the quoted being above, though I'm still being careful).
-------------
Added bonus: For a very good Doc Jensen article from EW, click here.
Jensen debunks three Lost rumors making the rounds:
1) The show is NOT moving to Fridays at 9pm. Thank God
2) Peter Stormare is NOT becoming a regular cast member. Boo! Hiss!
3) Forest Whitaker is NOT doing a two episode guest stint. Oh well...
He also gives us a neat theory on that new DHARMA Orientation film. Hmmm....

Jackface Is The True Soul of Wit
Check out these entertaining little Lost cartoons that were brought to my attention! I think I like this first one the best, but be sure to check them all out. (Click the comic for biggie version).
