Review...

Man, there's a lot to write about this episode! It'll take me a bit longer than usual to post it - probably a bit later in the afternoon - because I'm still not finished and I have to start a couple things in the lab right now.

The death poll I had up the last couple weeks was interesting given last night. Most people who voted thought Jin would die (69% of you) and probably even more would have picked Michael if I had offered him as a choice (duh). But only one person picked Locke, which speaks to the happy lack of spoiler readers who stop by. :)

Of course, there's still a lot of questions around who's really dead or not. Drop by in a couple hours, certainly before the end of the workday. :)

Yeah, I still haven't processed it all - I am about to rewatch it by myself. It was fun watching w/others - and by that I mean other people, not THE OTHERS (ha) - but I want to see it again before I analyze too much.

I feel all blah knowing it is over for the season... :(

Me too Caroline. Now we have to wait months and months for LOST again! But shew! Last night was awesome. Lots to take in. I loved it! I'm leaning on the idea that what we are watching is the past and the island is either alien technology or it is from our future. Or heck it's Atlantis. haha. Shew! Fun, Fun, Fun!

WILL WE EVER FIND OUT?? HA!

OK, I'll wait for your post. But one quick thing:

"Penny?...PENNY!!" -- Desmond

Woo Hoo!!!!! I yelled so hard I woke up my kids. I kinda knew it was gonna happen, but man it was GREAT to see it...FINALLY.

LOL - at least your kids were asleep - we had 5 between the ages of 3 and 8 running in and out. Thank goodness for DVR/pause button!

The Desmond/Penny scene was really anti-climatic for me. I just thought it was way too unrealistic...and yes, I know LOST is full of coincidences..but come on. It just seemed way too contrived.
Anyway, my favorite line of the show was when Jack told Desmond, "see you in another life, brotha" That's a references that goes all away back to season 2, when Desmond tells Jack that at the stadium. Jack isn't sure if he can save Sarah, and Desmond tells him he can.

Great review and comments here, as usual! Compared to everything else going on, I have to admit that the Pen and Dez scene was not too exciting for me either. I guess it was everything else that was going on that sort of muffled the effect, especially the excitement of the FDW! But remember Susan, it wasn't too coincidental, Penny got the message about the coordinates from the arctic guys, and had been setting up her search for Dez ever since season 2. Although, how she got from her living room to the middle of the ocean in a couple days is one I'll have to ponder. :o)
