The Real Lost/Heroes Connection?

Could it be that they're going to be shown back-to-back on Mondays, with "Lost" at 8pm? Be still my heart! Hey ABC, make this so!

I've had an incredibly busy week, but my next Top 10 Episode review is done and will be posted on Monday morning. In the meantime, don't forget to root for Michael Emerson (or Terry O'Quinn) this Sunday during the Emmy Awards!

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Well Jay, I can say that IF this IS true...it will benefit LOST in a VERY big way. Alas, the timeslot will have people up and tube surfing. :]]]]

This could indeed work out. But the lightweight show is supposed to air before the heavyweight show. :-)

I don't like it b/c it relegates me to recording. I have to record everything I want to see that airs in this time slot b/c it's before bedtime for kiddo in the Central time zone. I do like Mondays b/c that gives us all week to chat, but I'd prefer 10 pm EST/9 pm CST.

I also worry about Heroes and LOST pulling the "special episode that is going to run 3 minutes long/start 2 minutes early stuff." And then there's "Chuck" the show that NBC is airing in that time slot this fall and which has gotten good buzz. I was planning to watch it, and if it succeeds it will have momentum because it has been on air all season. And there's NBC pulling its stuff from iTunes. On and on it goes.

If I were TPTB at ABC, I would wait until January to figure out LOST's time slot based on the success/failure of everyone's fall lineup. I think it's too early to set anything in stone. But TPTB at ABC have not really impressed me with their smarts (see Cavemen as Exhibit 1).

This is just a rumor - certainly nothing set in stone - but the real thing I like about it is the 8pm time slot. 10pm is just too late for most people and one of the big reasons the ratings suffered last season.

And, yeah, it's a great way to start off the week. :)
